ASRS / Clad Rack
ASRS or widely known as Clad Rack make use of the rack structure to form part of the building structure. The roof and wall cladding are fixed directly onto the rack structure. Most Clad Rack buildings uses robotic equipment and automated goods handling system. Hence, the racking is subject to not only the load of pallets, stacker cranes and conveyor system, but also external factors such as wind, heavy rain and for some areas, earthquake.
